Creating films for my couples truly fills me with so much joy and fulfillment—it’s my absolute favorite thing. I feel incredibly grateful to work with amazing couples and am proud of the unique filming/editing style I’ve developed that feels true to me.
I’m a full-time wedding videographer based in beautiful, sunny San Diego — a dream city to live in as a Midwestern girl from Minnesota. Filmmaking has always been my way of romanticizing life and I’m so grateful I picked up a camera at 13 and never put it down.
I have a passion for documenting genuine connection and real moments
Technically, my journey began at 13 with a GoPro, filming travels with family and friends, but it truly started when I moved to California to attend college at UCSB. The beauty around me inspired me to pursue film seriously and I started Adelaide Shea Films in 2021. Now, four years later, I’m still capturing wedding days with the same love and passion as I did when I started.
My experience comes from a blend of self-teaching, technical film background, and my own unique filmmaking style I have crafted over the years I’ve been creating wedding films. I was also accepted into multiple film programs and have blended these skills into my wedding videos.
When I’m not shooting and editing, you can find me trying out all the new restaurants and coffee shops in San Diego (big foodie here), spending time with my bf/roomie, taking long walks by the beach, and traveling to new places.
